Stamped and Formed Sockets
Features and Benefits:
- Our sockets have bottom loaded
contacts. Other companies' sockets have top loaded contacts,
which sometimes come out when an IC is extracted.

We have true double sided
contacts. Other companies may claim that their sockets
are double sided, but in reality they have one side resting
against the wall. This means that effectively, that only one
contact is working. double sided contacts ensure four times
the reliability of other means.

Our sockets have the bottoms
sealed with kapton film, which prevents the
solder from getting inside the contact and jamming it.

Our contacts are fully
plated after stamping; others' have un-plated
edges, as they are stamped from plated strips
